How to improve your photos with HDR photography by hdrdarkroom
The way to make your photos more vivid
Do you enjoy in takeing photos? Do you want to record your life with
charmingphotos? If so, I’m sure you will be interested inthe HDR technology,
which will make your photos colorful.
Maybe you will have a question: What is HDR photography?
HDR photography is the short form of High Dynamic Range photography. This is a
digital technique that will lighten the underexposed place and darken the
overexposed place of your images. With this technology, the spectators will be
allowed to see the photos as if they are seeing it with their eyes – with even
lighting all over the silhouette or perspective.
The photographers will be able to make pictures with better detail in what ever
shadows, sunlight, or subject. This makes the photophraphers are able to explore
the images’ tonal mini part through more sets of exposures. HDR Photography
comprises many new photography techniques to broaden new lighting and tonal
probabilities. You are allowed to verify what digital photography can do to
capture the intensity levels found in orginal settings, or you are able to
produce impressive photos rich in emotion and mini part.
Then how to produce HDR photos?
You will be asked to take at least three images of the same landscape with
dissimilar exposures first: One normal-exposed, one over-exposed and one under-
exposed. Secondly you need a HDR software to blend these pictures into one HDR
picture. Now, we will introduce a nice HDR software to you —— HDR Darkroom.
HDR Darkroom is the first HDR software which can produce either realistic HDR
photos or surreal photos. It is much more easy-to-use and user-friendly than any
other HDR software.
It has three different tone mapping engines to creat HDR photos: Local tone
balancer (LTB), Local tone enhancer (LTE) and Fast tone compressor (FTC).
Local Tone Balancer engine is aimed at balancing tones in the shot and
exposingdetail in both shades and brightness. Minor fractions can be extracted
under this tool. Photographically, it can be used to make a image, which can show
fraction in wood, rock and other textured surfaces.
Under this engine, it has four ways to set the parameter of the images.
1Strength: Sets the local contrast of the photos
2Local lighting: Set the local lighting level
3Brightness: Set the brightness of the photos
4Saturation: Modify the color saturation of the images
Below is the HDR photo created with three pictures by Local Tone Balancer. The
three small pictures are the original ones and the bigger one is the final HDR
picture.
Local tone enhancer has the strong power of extracting mini parts in the image.
It is controlling strength of local contrast as well as brightness and
saturation, one can also master the shades with a smart control named fill-light.
The Fill-light operation is able to lighten up the darker regions just enough to
take out a little more fraction with not creating useless noise.
It has four options set the parameter of the photos, too.
1Strength: Modifythe local contrast of the images
2Brightness: Set the brightness of the pictures
3Saturation: Set the color saturation of the images
4Fill Light: Used to decrease the contrast of a landscape and give some
illumination for the areas of the pictures that are in shade.

image.
Besides these two Local Tone Mapping tools, the HDR Darkroom also includeds
another engineFast Tone Compressor. It gives incredible solutions promptly. It
is very useful for users who have many images to get through. Most Fast Tone
Compressor created images may want a little color balancing which you can do with
the offered color balance panel.
It has three methods to adjust the parameter.
1)Strength: Adjuststhe global contrast of the pictures
2)Brightness: Modify the brightness of the photos
3)Saturation: Modify the color saturation of the images
