Viewing the Main Collection - index page
As far as possible we have tried to place the views in areas that made sense to us when were putting the collection together for public viewing at shows. When putting the web site together it seemed to make sense to keep the format much the same, and also because it was easier for us to do it that way. If you are looking for Kent Views, because of the sheer size of the County, there are 4 areas.The area around BROMLEY,then MAIDSTONE and the MEDWAY, the area around TUNBRIDGE, and finally the area around ASHFORD. There is no actual border to any area, so you may have to browse through more than one to find what you are looking for.
Street Scenes in the London Boroughs can be found throughtout CENTRAL LONDON, encompassing W1 & W2, WC1 & WC2, and EC1,2,3 & 4. The next area W & NW LONDON includes M'ddx, which we will separate in due course. Then there is NORTH LONDON as one area EAST LONDON as another, SOUTH WEST LONDON and finally SOUTH EAST LONDON.
The Home Counties are more or less straight-forward, and Picture Postcard Images of the Towns & Villages we have, English Postcards or Sussex Scenes, etc.. should be found in their respective County, subject of course to boundary changes!
We still have a vast number of images yet to see the light of day, and we continue to add new ones, almost on a daily basis. We will continue to do so hopefully for many years to come.
